The future of electricity lies in the synergy between smart grids and renewable energy integration. As the share of variable sources like solar and wind grows, traditional centralized grids are becoming obsolete. Smart grids address this challenge by leveraging advanced digital technologies—including IoT sensors, artificial intelligence, and two-way communication networks—to create a dynamic, resilient energy system. This evolution enables real-time balancing of supply and demand, facilitates the incorporation of distributed energy resources such as rooftop solar and electric vehicles, and empowers consumers to become active "prosumers." Ultimately, this transition is essential for achieving global decarbonization goals, enhancing grid reliability, and building a sustainable, decentralized energy future.

We cordially invite all faculty members and students to attend this important event. The defense will take place on Monday, April 06, 2026, at 01 :00 PM. in room B15-3-2-003 at the College of Engineering, University City of Fara’a. Your presence and participation will not only support Dr. Ismeil but also foster an engaging academic discussion.

We look forward to seeing you there!
