Unit Head Information
Unit Tasks

  • Receiving faculty recruitment requirements from the departments of the College of Engineering.
  • Receive CVs and relevant documents from applicants and submit them to the departments.
  • Clarifying applicants' inquiries regarding professional matters such as appointment, salary package, workload, research, and social issues such as accommodation, education, treatment, etc.
  • Communicating with applicants regarding personal or virtual interviews.
  • Guiding appointed applicants upon their arrival at the university
  • Implementing any new executive rules regarding scholarships and promotions issued by the University's Academic Council.
  • Preparing and submitting applications and ensuring that the requirements for promotion or scholarship are met.
  • Guiding new faculty members and informing them of the regulations, policies, and services provided by the University and the College.
  • Preparing, processing, and submitting requests for academic and professional development programs for faculty members
  • Preparing the quarterly and annual reports of the unit.
