Master Degree discussion announcement in Electrical Engineering Department
This study presents the first full-year, site-specific PVsyst simulation of a residential-scale photovoltaic (PV) system under the distinctive mountain climate of Abha, Saudi Arabia. It bridges the gap between existing arid-desert soiling studies and multi-variable PV performance models developed primarily for temperate climates.
The study provides engineers, energy planners, and policymakers with a quantified baseline for PV energy yield, system losses, and economic viability in the southern highlands of Saudi Arabia. The results offer valuable insights for assessing the feasibility and performance of residential PV deployment under the region’s unique climatic conditions.
We cordially invite all faculty members and students to attend this important event. The defense will take place on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at 13 :00 PM. in room B15-3-2-012 at the College of Engineering, University City of Fara’a. Your presence and participation will not only support Faisal but also foster an engaging academic discussion.
We look forward to seeing you there!
