In a new achievement added to the series of achievements, the College of Engineering yet bagged a new prize. The Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) announced that the Chemical Engineering Department at King Khalid University won the SABIC Prize in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry for the academic year 2022. This prestigious prize aims to enhance scientific excellence in research projects and creative thinking for male and female students in various Universities within the Kingdom. The College of Engineering at King Khalid University is ranked fifth of all universities in the Kingdom, with its participation in the research presented by the master's student, Ramzi Hamed Nasser Harrah, supervised by Dr. Ihab Mohamed Taha Shigidi. The College of Engineering congratulates the research team on this important award, and considers what has been achieved as an investment for the great support that it finds from the senior management represented by His Excellency the Rector of the University who spares no effort in supporting and encouraging all sectors of the University.
