Committee Tasks
- Ensure that recruitment practices are aligned with university policies, emphasizing diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Develop and maintain criteria for evaluating faculty performance based on teaching effectiveness, research output, service to the department, and professional development.
- Encourage and facilitate faculty participation in workshops, conferences, seminars, and training programs that enhance teaching skills, research capabilities, and industry knowledge.
- Serve as a point of contact for faculty members who have concerns related to their work environment, workload, evaluations, or other departmental issues.
- Develop programs to recognize and celebrate faculty achievements in teaching, research, and service to the department.
- Submit recommendations for improving faculty retention, productivity, and overall satisfaction.
