Committee Tasks
  1. Spread the culture of quality in the department
  2. Follow up the implementation of the strategic plan of the college and measure the performance indicators and their compatibility with the strategic plan of the university
  3. Supervising the preparation of the operation plans for the academic programs and following up on their implementation and measuring the performance indicators of the plan
  4. Prepare and approve annual plan for the activities of the development and quality at program level and submit them to the Deanship of Academic Development and Quality
  5. Preparing and adopting a plan for the academic accreditation of the programs and submitting them to the Deanship of Academic Development and Quality
  6. Forming and activating the advisory committee of the program
  7. To ensure that the programs and courses are described in the latest models of the standards, in accordance with NQF and to align the learning outcomes specified by National Center for Academic Assessment and Evaluation and/or the National or international accreditation bodies
  8. Holding training courses in the field of development and quality (with particular emphasis on teaching and learning, assessment strategies targeting new faculty members)
  9. Supervising the updating of the department 
  10. Supervising the measurement and evaluating the performance indicators specified in the programs 
  11. Preparation of policy manuals, and annual reports of programs 
  12. Studying the difficulties or problems facing the development and quality of the programs and proposing solutions
  13. Contribute to the planning and implementation of development initiatives for faculty members and students
