In an academic year, the Engineering Club excelled and excelled, in which it presented many programs that were distinguished by their creative touches, brilliant and pioneering ideas, and the exceptional method of implementation. Not only at the level of King Khalid University, but also at the level of universities in the Kingdom in general. From volunteer work to humanitarian work, the engineers of our university have proven that our humanity is the noblest. In addition to the scientific and engineering works that are distinguished among the clubs, the engineering helmet demonstrated its high aspiration, which extends to the heads of the clouds.
A group of civil engineering students visited the industrial laboratories for highway engineering. This group of civil engineering students also received simple training at the Soil and Foundation Company Limited for Highway Materials. Dr. Abdullah Fayez Al-Asmari and Dr. Rohabad Khan coordinated the meeting and training. While another group of civil engineering students received training in the University City Campus in Al-Fara'a on Introductions to the Global Positioning System. The group benefited by getting acquainted with the types and operating mechanisms of GPS devices available in the department, as they learned in a simple way about geographic information systems. The training program was implemented by Dr. Javed Malik in cooperation with a group of engineers and specialists in the Civil Engineering Department.

The Engineering Club concluded its initiative "Iftar for Fasting" in partnership with the Al-Bir Charitable Society in Tandah, the International Society of Industrial Engineers, and the Volunteerism and Community Service Unit in the college.     College of Engineering/King Khalid University won the silver medal during its participation in the International Exhibition of Inventions, Innovations and Technology "ITEX 23", which is being held from May 7 to May 14, in the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur. The student Nayef bin Ali Al-Qahtani, "Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, College of Engineering at the University", won the silver medal in the same exhibition; Through the project to produce graphene oxide material for supercapacitors.   The Department of Architecture and Planning at the College of Engineering launches its quarterly exhibition in the University City in the presence of His Excellency the President of the University and with the participation of 150 students   Yesterday, Wednesday, the Department of Architecture and Planning at the College of Engineering held its quarterly exhibition of architectural and engineering designs in the University City. In addition, 50 architectural projects were displayed, through which the students of the department gave an in-kind explanation to His Excellency the President of the University at the exhibition. The head of the Department of Architecture and Planning, Dr. Ahmed Al-Shahouhan, invited several governmental and other private agencies to review and evaluate the architectural projects by specialists. The head of the department also re-welcomed all the attendees and participants in the exhibition and explained the importance of the exhibition in the cooperation of all public and private sectors with educational institutions in determining the requirements of the labor market and opening prospects for future training and employment.

  On Wednesday, October 26, King Khalid University concluded the Improvement Studies Camp, which was held at the University City in Al-Qara’a, in partnership between the College of Engineering and the Saudi Electricity Company, in the presence of His Excellency the President of the University, Dr. Eng. Abdullah bin Zain Al-Omari, and several employees and leaders of the two sides. The two entities presented multiple studies, including: studying the impact of lightning strikes on the electrical network and ways to mitigate its effects, improving the performance of voltage-changers in the transformers of Badr Al-Janoub and Al-Majma’ stations, improving the procedure for measuring customer satisfaction and dealing with complaints, and automating the documentation of the readiness process of meeting rooms and crisis centers and disaster control. The Vice Dean of the College of Engineering for Research and Graduate Studies, Dr. Saeed Al-Qadi, explained that the main objective of establishing such camps is to involve students in solving problems that may occur in the companies or departments in which they will work and increase their direct contact with engineers from the Electricity Company to prepare them for the work environment, as well as introducing the improvement methodology. of the Saudi Electricity Company, by holding a series of workshops, applying the methodology, and producing the best results.

It strives to participate in the career path and connect the academic portions being addressed in the classroom with the technicalities. The College of Engineering's Student Activities Supervisor, Eng. Waleed Al-Muhajiri and Dr. Muhammad Abdul Aziz assisted a group of students on our first expedition to the Abdul Hadi Al-Qahtani and Sons Factory (Pepsi), which lasted for two hours of interesting and enjoyable engineering science.

  The Engineering Club concluded the “Saka 101” tournament, which is part of the “Our Entertainment is Volunteer” program. Where several teams competed, with a large attendance of students from the College of Engineering. After a fiery and exciting competition, student Khaled Muhammad and student Fahd Fayyad won the "Saka 101" championship for this academic term. Congratulations to the winners!!  
  From the midst of the clouds and fog, in the city of fog, the passion and ambition of our engineers come out. On the 15th of this month, the Engineering Club for the Male Sector at King Khalid University, in partnership with the Engineering Club for the Female Sector, celebrated the occasion of "International Engineer’s Day," where the ceremony was attended by the Deanship of Student Affairs, Dr. Adel Asiri, the Head of the Student Clubs Department, Mr. Yasser Al-Salmi, several faculty members, and some of the heads of student clubs. The branch also hosted its supporters, the Excellence Center for Electricity and Solar Energy, Essel Café, Vogue Café, Cardamom Café, and its strategic partner, the High City in Abha, where the event included several activities, including various competitions in which more than 250 prizes were distributed, face painting for children, guidance for high school students, and for all those who have inquiries about engineering disciplines and awareness of them, distributing phrases expressing the International Day of the Engineer. Several senior media professionals in the region visited the ceremony to cover the ceremony, including Ms. Salma Al-Shahrani, Ms. Tahani Al-Qahtani, and Mr. Mohammed Asiri. The event witnessed a great turnout, as the number of visitors to the event reached about 400, and the event concluded with a word of thanks from the pioneer of the Engineering Club, Engineer Amir Yasser, and a group photo of all the organizers.  
  Tuesday 05-24-2022: Opening of the Engineering Fair under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Engineering His Excellency the Dean of the College of Engineering at King Khalid University, Prof. Muhammad Khaloofah Al Mesfer, open the Engineering Expo432 in the presence of a number of guests and faculty members. The Engineering Fair is held every semester to give students the opportunity to showcase their projects on a large scale through a common platform for exchanging new experiences and ideas to advance the engineering sciences and the engineering profession.    
King Khalid University, represented by the College of Engineering, signed a cooperation agreement with the Southern province Cement company with the aim of achieving research and training cooperation, in addition to integration between the two sides in the service of human development and building social responsibility, in the presence of His Excellency the President of the University, Pr. Falleh R. M. Al-Solamy, at the university city-Abha. The university was represented in signing the agreement by the Undersecretary for Educational and Academic Affairs, Dr. Saad bin Dajam, and by the Southern Region Cement Company, its CEO, Eng. Aqil bin Kadsa. The Dean of the College of Engineering, Pr. Muhammad Al Mesfer, explained that one of the most prominent areas of cooperation stipulated in the terms of the agreement was to build joint training and research programs, and to provide various activities and events aimed at community service and development, in addition to allowing students to conduct research studies, and exchanging experiences between the two parties.
