Committee Tasks
- Promoting a culture of quality within the department.
- Supervising the department’s strategic plan and monitoring its implementation.
- Proposing developmental plans and initiatives for the department.
- Overseeing the activities related to evaluation and academic accreditation within the department.
- Recommending the program’s learning objectives and outcomes, along with the methods and evaluation tools used to measure and achieve them.
- Supervising the preparation of course files, including: CVs of teaching staff members, Copies of evaluation certificates,Course descriptions in both Arabic and English, following the National Commission for Academic Accreditation and Assessment (NCAAA) format, Samples of previous exam questions and Samples of student answer sheets at various performance levels.
- Preparing the department’s handbook and introductory brochures, including study plans and career opportunities.
- Receiving external accreditation teams and internal quality committees visiting the department.
- Encouraging faculty members to propose developmental projects and assisting in their implementation.
- Supervising the self-evaluation process of departmental programs and preparing self-study reports.
- Collaborating with the faculty’s quality unit to promote a culture of quality and accreditation through awareness lectures, workshops, and quality week activities.
- Validating and submitting accreditation-related documentation and results to the department head.
- Continuously collecting and maintaining data related to accreditation and quality activities.
- Preparing periodic performance reports and beneficiary satisfaction analyses for all departmental activities.
- Holding regular meetings to review the progress of accreditation requirements and preparing program description files.
- Performing any other tasks assigned by committees related to quality and academic accreditation activities.
