- Determine research strategies and directions and coordinate the efforts of the bodies concerned with scientific research within the college.
- Create and develop research partnerships with industry.
- Preparing a database for institutions and organizations in the surrounding community to cooperate with them to boost the efficiency of scientific research in the college.
- Providing a set of training programs to increase the efficiency of researchers in the college.
- Preparing and crafting proposals for conferences and seminars and submitting them to the college.
- Organizing conferences and seminars periodically.
- Conduct seminars/webinars on engineering topics given by external faculty/industry professionals/academicians.
- Preparing the unit’s annual report.
