Master Degree discussion announcement in Electrical Engineering Department
The increasing penetration of inverter-based renewable generation systems such as photovoltaic (PV) and wind systems into our power grids, causes severe difficulties in the stability and protection of these systems particularly under conditions of emergency or fault operation. This research tackles all these problems by proposing and proving the effectiveness of a Smart Fault Current Controller (FCC) based on Fault Current Limiter system topology.
