Intricate nature of electrical power systems has increased with continuous technological advancement, which has limited the accuracy of traditional forecasting methods. Thru this research, we aim to use deep learning models to improve the forecasting of demand and generation of electrical energy at power plants, and to support the efficiency of planning and operation in the energy sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
