Master's Program
The Department of Electrical Engineering has started offering a post graduate program leading to the degree of Master of Science (M.Sc) in Electrical Engineering by thesis in 1439 (approved). The M.Sc. program has been designed to cope with the modern trends and development in Electrical Engineering. The program will offer students two specialization tracks as, (a) Electronics and Communications Engineering and (b) Electrical Machines and Power Systems Engineering.

Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering
Administered by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, this postgraduate program aims to meet the standards of leading international and Saudi universities. It equips students with the knowledge and skills required to develop, manage, and innovate in the field of mechanical engineering. Designed in accordance with Saudi Vision 2030, the program prepares engineers and researchers in advanced mechanical engineering fields.

MoU Between KKU & SARS
King Khalid University, represented by the College of Engineering, signed a memorandum of understanding yesterday, Monday, with the Saudi Amateur Radio Society (SARS), in the University City of Al-Qara’a.
Undergraduate Program
The faculty of engineering started with six departments: Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Architecture. The authorized body i.e. MoHE (private institutions and Council of Higher Education for public institutions) has approved the all aforesaid programs via. MoHE/9683 dated 05/08/1426. Until the 1st Semester of 2007 the Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering programs resided in the Department of Civil Engineering. The first set of students in Civil Engineering graduated in 2012.
