The 12th Annual Research Day in the College of Engineering

The 12th Annual Research Day, organized by the Deanship of Scientific Research in collaboration with the College of Engineering, represented by its Research center in the College, took place on Thursday 1/8/1438. The Research Day consisted of two sessions; the first session chaired by the College of Engineering Vice Dean, Dr. Mohamed Al-Reaf where 3 papers were presented. Dr. Mohamed Aloney from the Civil Engineering Department was followed by Dr. Mohamed Zubair from the Electrical Engineering Department and the session was concluded by a paper presented by Mohamed Mansour, Head of the Industrial Engineering Department. The second session was chaired by Dr. Ali Alkuzaim, Vice Dean of Quality and Development and comprised of two presentations, Professor Yassir Fahmy, Head of Chemical Engineering Department presented the first talk followed by Dr. Vinet Thirth from the Mechanical Engineering Department. The Theme of the Research Day was Recent Trends in Engineering and Technology. The Engineering College Dean Dr. Ibrahim Idris Falqi distributed certificates of thanks and appreciation for their efforts and scientific contributions in the field of research, which contributed to the enrichment of scientific research within the college.

Very importent acheivement for Dr Sid-Ahmed Ould Ahmedou in the College

Development of the first course in the College of Engineering Dr. Sid Ahmed Ould Ahmedou has developed a course of Computer for Engineers-(GE-221) as the first course to be developed in the college of Engineering by the supervision of e-Learning Deanship. All lectures of this course was recorded and uploaded on open courses YouTube related to eLearning Deanship after the approval from the Deanship. Click here to view these videos
