The university president attends the graduation projects exhibition for students of the College of Engineering.

His Excellency the President of King Khalid University, Prof. Dr. Faleh bin Raja Allah Al-Salami emphasized the importance of students ’graduation projects at the College of Engineering, like other colleges, as they represent the first of their achievements, and their application of the information and skills they acquired in their college, and which contribute to the formation of engineering projects that have practical and economic benefit to them, adding The knowledge economy and investment is the widest field for work at the present time, which is what the college’s graduates should turn to contribute to the economic growth of the Kingdom and the development of the economy in it, in order to achieve the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.   This came during His Excellency’s sponsorship of the recent graduation project exhibition ceremony for students of the College of Engineering, as Al-Salami asserted that the College of Engineering launched efficiently towards achieving great successes and academic accreditations, and is striving to improve its outputs and improve its educational and research processes, which contributed to its leadership and excellence, and confirms this. The attention of the public and private sectors to attract their outputs, indicating that the establishment of such an exhibition and the accompanying events confirms the university’s interest in keeping abreast of knowledge developments, and highlighting the achievements of its graduates to businessmen, employers, incubators and business accelerators, praising what he saw of projects that were distinguished by creativity in their ideas and quality in implementation, and included various fields.   In addition, the Dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Muhammad Al Misfer, expressed the college’s keenness to empower its students, and its relentless endeavor to raise the level of their skills, underlining the contribution of the college’s employees and students to many initiatives and actions at the university and the region’s level, locally and internationally.   The ceremony began with a tour of His Excellency the President of the University with the Dean and the employees of the College of Engineering, where the numbers and achievements of the college during the past years were presented, which showed a quantum leap in the accreditation of the college’s programs and the number of published research and patents, which raised the college’s classification until it reached the rank between 401 - 500 in the world, according to the Times ranking.   During the gathering, some graduation projects were presented to students from various departments of the college, and at the end of the ceremony, His Excellency the President of the University and the Dean of the College of Engineering honored the distinguished researchers, units, students and employees as well as the distinguished units and departing members of the college, and the Dean of the College of Engineering presented a souvenir made in the laboratories of the College of Engineering to His Excellency the President the University.   It is noteworthy that the College of Engineering, through its students and employees, presented distinct initiatives during the past period, including the initiative to develop and manufacture tools for the prevention of corona, which has achieved great success, while the college is preparing to launch the qualitative virtual forum "How to build your home" on April 17th.
