2. Program Quality Monitoring Procedures:

  1. The Industrial Engineering Department of the College of Engineering, King Khalid University is following the quality ethics in teaching-learning and maintaining records.
  2. Department Quality Committee (DQC is responsible for the collection of quality files involving course reports, course specifications, MID exams, short tests with model answers, etc.
  3. Deanship of Quality is overall responsible to meet the quality standards to follow ABET guidelines for continuous improvement.
  4. The quality committee is responsible for maintaining and update of the course files, course specifications, course reports, etc.
  • Direct analysis (student result analysis, cohort analysis)
  • Learning outcome measurements of the program through individual courses.
  • KPI analysis through various surveys (Course Evaluation Survey, Program Evaluation survey, Student Learning Experience survey, Faculty Advisor Survey, alumni survey, employer survey, etc.)
  • Self-evaluation by the head of the department and the dean of the college.

 

 

3. Procedures to Monitor Quality of Courses Taught by other Departments:

  1. The Quality Coordinator is responsible for collecting and maintain quality ethics in related forms to maintain the records.
  2. The Department Quality Committee (DQC) is responsible for examining such documents from other departments to assess the quality norms.
  3. DQC is responsible for verifying the course taught, examinations conducted are as per the course specifications (CS) and course reports (CR) are maintained.
