With collaboration with Mr. Abdullah Zubain, QA Manager in E-Learning Deanship, Dr Jamel Madiouli, Assistant Professor in Mechanical Eng. Dept. submitted the "Thermodynamics 1 - ME223" Course for Quality reviewing at QM organization. The course was successfully recognized for Quality Matters and got QM certification. This course is the third course certified QM at KKU in 2015. Congratulations for the College and the Mechanical Department.

With the good presence of the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Hussein Manaa Alwadei, and the vices dean Dr Ibarhi Falqi and Dr Hamdi Gaith and Departments Chairmen, the Department of Elaectrical Engineering, headed by Dr. Mohammed Asseeri, honored all distinguished staff for this academic year 1435-1436. This was in recognition of the department for their efforts and achievements and to encourage them and all Members to do all the best.

Final exams period was started officially on Saturday 27/7/1436. College of Engineering, represented by His Dean, Prof. Dr. Hussein Manaa Alwadei and His Vice Dean Dr. Ibrahim Idris Falqi and all faculty staff members, wish the success for all students.        

Development of the first E-Course in Mechanical Eng. specialization Dr. Amir Mohammed Kessentini has developed a course of Strength of Materials and their Testing (ME-225) as the first course in mechanical engineering specialization to be developed in the college under the supervision of E-Learning Deanship. All lectures of this course was recorded and uploaded on open courses YouTube related to eLearning after the approval from the Deanship. This course is the second one developed in the college (Mechanical Engineering Department) after the GE-221 (Computer for Engineers) developed by Dr. Sid Ahmed Ahmedou.
